The trail can easily be done, there and back, in a day. We recommend we drop the bikes off at Portreath around 10am and collect them back at Portreath around 4pm.

The trail itself is fairly easy, family friendly with a wide path. There are a few short road sections but most is on a purpose built trail used by bikes, walkers and horse riders.
