Web6 de jun. de 2024 · Make Office files from shared link open in their full desktop app by default When I share Office files with others, I need for the files to open in the full versions of the office desktop app. How do I do that? I have the same issue in Teams. If I share a link to file, I need to have the file open in full desktop app by default. If you have traditional Office licensing and do not have a 365 login, you only get Open in Excel Online and if you open the sheet in Excel Online you do not get the button to open the file in Excel.
